An agreement has been struck between the the St. Charles County Drug Task Force Unit, and the law enforcement professionals just north-west of our community, the Lincoln County Sheriffs Department.
This agreement will guarantee and formalize cooperation between the two counties when it comes to the enforcement of drug laws. The agreement is officially called the "The Associate Membership Agreement by and between the St. Charles County Regional Drug Task Force and Lincoln County Sheriff’s office”. This agreement hopes to save taxpayer money by easing lines of communication and combining duplicative investigations and resource expenditures. An officer from the Lincoln County Sheriffs department will also now serve on the St. Charles County Drug Task Force Unit, which currently has members from all the major police departments in St. Charles County. |
